Terms and Conditions

General Terms and Conditions (ÁSZF)

Effective: 25 August 2026

This is the English translation of the Hungarian General Terms and Conditions (Általános Szerződési Feltételek). For contracts concluded in English, the English version applies; in any other case of discrepancy, the Hungarian version prevails.

1. Details of the Service Provider

  • Company name: AION sense Korlátolt Felelősségű Társaság (limited liability company; hereinafter: the "Service Provider")
  • Registered office: 1114 Budapest, Bartók Béla út 76. 1. em. 2. ajtó, Hungary
  • Company registration number: 01-09-448295
  • Tax number: 32895850-1-43
  • Electronic contact (Customer Service): info@aionsense.ai

2. Subject matter of the contract, scope and conditions of the Terms

2.1. These General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter: the "Terms") govern the conditions for downloading the AION sense mobile application operated by the Service Provider (hereinafter: the "App"), registering a user account, using the digital health and artificial intelligence (AI) services, and renting the related biosensor device (hereinafter: the "Device").

2.2. The Contract is concluded between the Service Provider and the natural person using the App as a registered user (hereinafter: the "User") upon downloading the App, completing the registration and expressly accepting these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

2.3. Only natural persons who have reached the age of 18 and have full legal capacity are entitled to register for the App and to conclude the Contract. The Service Provider is entitled to verify the User's age and eligibility and to refuse to provide the service if these conditions are not met.

3. Subscription plans, fees and trial period

3.1. The Service Provider provides the basic functions of the App free of charge (Freemium model), while its full functionality (including use of the Device, the AI analyses and the premium services) is provided against payment of a subscription fee, on a monthly subscription basis (hereinafter: the "Subscription").

3.2. The Service Provider is entitled to offer subscription packages with different content and fees (e.g. Standard, Premium, Corporate discounted). The content and gross monthly fee of the current subscription packages are set out on the relevant screen of the App. The Service Provider reserves the right to introduce new subscription models.

3.3. Trial period: The Service Provider may provide a free trial period as part of individual promotions or packages. If the User does not cancel the Subscription before the end of the free trial period, upon expiry of the trial period the Contract automatically converts into a paid Subscription and the bank card provided by the User is charged with the monthly fee of the selected package.

3.4. Automatic renewal and cancellation: Unless otherwise provided, every paid Subscription renews automatically each month. The User is entitled to cancel the Subscription within the App at any time before the renewal (the start of the next billing cycle), without giving reasons. In the event of cancellation, the User may continue to use the Services until the end of the period already paid for and is not entitled to a refund (of any pro rata fee for a partial month).

4. Payment terms and third-party services

4.1. AION sense's own Subscription fees are paid electronically through the Stripe online payment system. The Service Provider does not have access to and does not store the User's bank card details; these are processed by Stripe in accordance with its own security protocols. The Service Provider sends the invoice to the User's e-mail address in electronic form.

4.2. Intermediated third-party services: The App makes it possible to book services of third-party providers. The User pays the consideration for such third-party services directly through the payment interface provided by the third party and via that party's payment service provider. AION sense Kft. accepts no financial or professional liability whatsoever for these transactions or for the service provided; it solely provides the booking platform (intermediation).

5. Terms of Device rental (hardware)

5.1. For the duration of the Subscription, the Service Provider provides the User with a biosensor smart wristband (Device) under a rental arrangement. The Device remains the exclusive property of the Service Provider at all times.

5.2. The User shall use the Device for its intended purpose and in accordance with the user manual, and shall protect it from damage with the degree of care that may reasonably be expected.

5.3. Obligation to return: If the User's Subscription terminates (for any reason, including cancellation and account deletion) within 6 (six) months of the start of the Subscription, the User shall return the Device to the Service Provider (to the address 1114 Budapest, Bartók Béla út 76. 1. em. 2. ajtó, Hungary) at the User's own expense, in working and clean condition, within 14 calendar days of the termination of the Subscription. If the Subscription terminates after 6 months have elapsed from the start of the Subscription, the User is no longer under an obligation to return the Device.

5.4. Liability for damages (replacement fee): If the User is obliged to return the Device under point 5.3 but fails to return it within the specified deadline, loses it, or the Device is returned in a damaged condition resulting from improper use (excluding normal wear and tear), the User shall pay the Service Provider liquidated damages (a replacement fee) of HUF 20,000 (twenty thousand Hungarian forints). The Service Provider is entitled to charge this amount to the User's registered bank card.

6. Exclusion of medical liability and use of AI

6.1. The data, analyses of medical results, vitality indicators, lifestyle advice and any other analysis or recommendation generated by Artificial Intelligence (AI) and displayed in the App are EXCLUSIVELY FOR PREVENTIVE AND INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES.

6.2. The App and the Device do not qualify as medical diagnostic equipment. The Service is not a substitute for medical diagnosis, advice or treatment. Owing to the nature of AI technology, the Service Provider does not guarantee the absolute medical accuracy of the analyses provided; the AI may "hallucinate" or draw incorrect conclusions.

6.3. In the event of any health complaint, symptom or deterioration in well-being, the User shall consult a medical specialist without delay. The Service Provider expressly excludes its liability for any damage arising from health-related decisions made by the User on the basis of the App's data.

7. Right of withdrawal (for consumers)

7.1. Pursuant to Government Decree 45/2014. (II. 26.) on the detailed rules of contracts between consumers and businesses, the User (as a consumer) has the right to withdraw from the Contract without giving any reason within 14 days of the conclusion of the Contract (the ordering of the Subscription).

7.2. The User may exercise the right of withdrawal by sending an unequivocal statement to the Service Provider's e-mail address (info@aionsense.ai).

7.3. In the event of withdrawal, the User shall return the Device in the User's possession to the Service Provider without delay, but no later than 14 days after communicating the withdrawal. The Service Provider refunds the subscription fee paid once the Device has been returned complete and undamaged. The Service Provider is entitled to deduct from the refund the fee for the service provided, in proportion, up to the communication of the withdrawal, as well as any diminished value of the Device.

8. Special provisions applicable to the Web Shop

8.1. The Service Provider operates a web shop at https://aionsense.ai/en/shop (hereinafter: the "Web Shop"), where the AION sense biosensor smart wristband and related products can be purchased. Orders placed in the Web Shop are governed by points 8-14 of these Terms; in the event of any discrepancy between points 8-14 and any other provision of these Terms, points 8-14 prevail with respect to orders placed in the Web Shop.

8.2. A Device purchased in the Web Shop becomes the property of the Buyer upon payment of the purchase price and delivery to the Buyer; therefore, the rental, return and replacement fee provisions of point 5 do not apply to it.

8.3. Buyer: a natural person who has reached the age of 18 and has full legal capacity, or a legal person, who places an order in the Web Shop. Consumer: a natural person acting outside the scope of his or her profession, independent occupation or business activity. The provisions of these Terms that expressly set out the rights of consumers (in particular points 12 and 13) apply exclusively to the Consumer.

8.4. Details of the seller (Service Provider):

  • Company name: AION sense Korlátolt Felelősségű Társaság
  • Registered office, postal and returns address: 1114 Budapest, Bartók Béla út 76. 1. em. 2. ajtó, Hungary
  • Company registration number: 01-09-448295 (registering authority: Fővárosi Törvényszék Cégbírósága (Court of Registration of the Budapest-Capital Regional Court))
  • Tax number: 32895850-1-43
  • Customer service e-mail: info@aionsense.ai
  • Customer service telephone number: [TO BE COMPLETED: customer service telephone number and hours of availability]

8.5. Details of the hosting providers:

  • Hosting provider of the website and the Web Shop: Cloudflare, Inc. (101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, United States of America), www.cloudflare.com
  • Hosting provider of the order database: Supabase, Inc. (United States of America), supabase.com

8.6. The language of contracts concluded in the Web Shop is Hungarian or English (according to the language version chosen by the Buyer). The contract does not qualify as a contract made in writing; it is not filed by the Service Provider and is not subsequently accessible. The Service Provider sends the order details to the Buyer in the confirmation e-mail. The Service Provider has not submitted itself to any code of conduct.

9. The ordering process and correction of input errors

9.1. The ordering process consists of the following steps: (a) selecting the product and the desired colour variant, specifying the quantity, and selecting the monthly or annual AION Premium subscription that accompanies the wristband (point 10.8); (b) proceeding to the checkout page; (c) signing in with an existing AION user account or registering a new account (entering an e-mail address and password, confirming that the Buyer is over 18 years of age, accepting these Terms and the Privacy Policy, and then entering the confirmation code received by e-mail); (d) entering contact details (name, telephone number) – the e-mail address associated with the order is the e-mail address of the user account; (e) selecting the delivery method and entering the delivery address or the parcel locker; (f) entering billing details and, in the case of a company purchase, the company name and tax number; (g) selecting the payment method; (h) optionally entering and applying a coupon code; (i) reviewing the order summary; (j) accepting these Terms and the Privacy Policy; (k) submitting the order.

9.2. Correction of input errors: before submitting the order, the Buyer may at any time and without restriction modify the data entered and the contents of the cart: the fields of the checkout form can be freely edited, the quantity can be changed, and the selected delivery and payment methods can be changed. The Service Provider accepts no liability for any delay or additional cost resulting from incorrect or incomplete data being provided. If the Buyer notices an input error after submitting the order, the Buyer must report it without delay to info@aionsense.ai; the Service Provider will make the correction, where possible, until the parcel is dispatched.

9.3. Before the order is submitted, the Web Shop clearly displays in the order summary the total amount of the order, including the price of the products, any discount and the delivery fee. The summary shows the subscription selected for the wristband on a separate line, with an amount of HUF 0 payable at the time of ordering, together with the date and amount of the first charge. The Buyer submits the order by clicking the button labelled "Continue to payment"; pressing the button constitutes a binding offer by the Buyer entailing an obligation to pay.

9.4. The Service Provider confirms receipt of the order electronically, by automatic confirmation e-mail, without delay and no later than within 48 hours. If the confirmation does not reach the Buyer within 48 hours of submitting the order, the Buyer is released from the obligation to be bound by the offer. The confirmation e-mail contains the order number, an itemised list of the products ordered and their prices, any discount, the delivery fee, the total amount, the delivery and payment methods, as well as information on the right of withdrawal and where the model withdrawal form can be accessed.

9.5. The contract is concluded upon the Service Provider's confirmation of the order.

9.6. The Service Provider is entitled to refuse an order if the product cannot be delivered because it is out of stock, if an obviously incorrect price was displayed in the Web Shop, or if the Buyer refused, without justification, to accept the parcel in connection with a previous order. In the event of refusal, the Service Provider notifies the Buyer by e-mail and refunds the purchase price already paid in full without delay, but no later than within 14 days.

10. Prices, payment methods and invoicing

10.1. The prices displayed in the Web Shop are stated in Hungarian forints (HUF) and do not include value added tax (VAT): the Service Provider has opted for the subjective (small business) VAT exemption under Sections 187-196 of Act CXXVII of 2007 on Value Added Tax; therefore, it does not charge VAT to the Buyer and the invoice issued does not include VAT. The price displayed is the total amount payable by the Buyer. The current purchase price of the AION sense smart wristband is HUF 14,990.

10.2. Product prices do not include the delivery fee; the Web Shop displays this on the checkout page before the order is submitted, on a separate line and then in the summary, together with the total amount payable.

10.3. The Service Provider reserves the right to change its prices. Price changes do not affect orders that have already been confirmed; in every case, the price displayed in the Web Shop at the time the order is submitted applies to the Buyer.

10.4. Obviously incorrect price: if, owing to a system error or administrative error, an obviously incorrect price (for example HUF 0, or a price that differs strikingly and substantially from the market price) is displayed in the Web Shop, the Service Provider is not obliged to sell the product at the incorrect price. In such a case, the Service Provider notifies the Buyer without delay and makes a new offer at the correct price, which the Buyer is not obliged to accept; in the absence of confirmation of the order, no contract is concluded between the parties.

10.5. Payment method:

  • Bank card payment: payment is made via the secure payment interface of Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. (1 Grand Canal Street Lower, Grand Canal Dock, Dublin, Ireland). The Service Provider does not have access to and does not store the Buyer's bank card details. The order is confirmed when the payment service provider reports that the payment was successful.

10.6. Invoicing: the Service Provider issues an electronic invoice (e-invoice) for the order and sends it to the e-mail address provided by the Buyer via the invoicing system of KBOSS.hu Kft. (számlázz.hu, 1031 Budapest, Záhony utca 7., Hungary). By placing the order, the Buyer expressly consents to the issuing of an electronic invoice and to its delivery by e-mail. In the case of a company purchase, the Buyer shall provide the company name and tax number accurately; the Service Provider is not liable for the consequences of incorrect billing details being provided.

10.7. Coupons and discounts: a discount granted with a valid coupon code applies exclusively to the price of the products and not to the delivery fee. One coupon code may be used per order; unless otherwise provided, coupons cannot be combined with each other or with other promotions. Coupons cannot be exchanged for cash.

10.8. AION Premium subscription ordered in the Web Shop: the wristband can only be ordered together with a monthly or annual AION Premium subscription (one subscription per order); the exception is where a valid paid or corporate subscription is already associated with the Buyer's user account. HUF 0 is payable for the subscription at the time of ordering; Stripe saves the Buyer's bank card for charging subsequent fees. The subscription starts on the day on which the wristband is first paired in the App with the user account used to place the order. In the case of a monthly subscription, the first month is free of charge; thereafter the subscription renews automatically each month and the Service Provider charges the monthly fee displayed at the time of ordering to the saved bank card. In the case of an annual subscription, there is no free period: the Service Provider charges the annual fee to the saved bank card upon the first pairing, and the subscription thereafter renews automatically each year. The subscription may be cancelled in the App at any time; in the event of cancellation, the service may be used until the end of the current (free or paid) period. The right of withdrawal relating to the subscription is governed by point 7.

11. Delivery, delivery methods and deadlines

11.1. The Service Provider delivers orders exclusively within the territory of Hungary.

11.2. Delivery methods and fees (the fees in force from time to time are displayed on the checkout page; the fees below do not include VAT, see point 10.1) – [TO BE COMPLETED: final business approval of the delivery fees; the rates below are currently pending approval]:

  • Foxpost parcel locker: HUF 1,190 (provider: FOXPOST Zrt.)
  • GLS home delivery: HUF 1,490 (provider: GLS General Logistics Systems Hungary Kft.)
  • MPL home delivery: HUF 1,590 (provider: Magyar Posta Zrt. (Hungarian Post))

11.3. Expected delivery time: for products in stock, the Service Provider dispatches the parcel within 1-2 business days of confirming the order – or, in the case of bank card payment, of receiving the payment – and the delivery service provider typically delivers the parcel within a further 1-3 business days. The expected total delivery time is therefore 2-5 business days. In all cases, the Service Provider makes the product available to the Buyer no later than 30 days after the conclusion of the contract. If the product cannot be delivered within the committed deadline, the Service Provider informs the Buyer by e-mail without delay; in this case, the Buyer is entitled to withdraw from the contract, and the Service Provider refunds the amount already paid without delay, but no later than within 14 days.

11.4. In the case of parcel locker delivery, the consignment may be collected for the period specified in the delivery service provider's business terms in force from time to time (typically 3 business days); uncollected consignments are returned by the provider to the Service Provider.

11.5. The Buyer shall inspect the parcel upon receipt in the presence of the courier or at the parcel locker. If the packaging is damaged, the Buyer may request that a damage report be drawn up or may refuse to accept the parcel. If the damage is reported subsequently without a damage report, the Service Provider can only enforce a claim arising from transport damage against the delivery service provider if the Buyer reports the damage, with photographic documentation, without delay after delivery.

11.6. If the Buyer refuses to accept the parcel for a reason attributable to the Buyer, or fails to collect the parcel within the available period, the Service Provider is entitled to claim from the Buyer the outbound and return shipping costs incurred. This provision does not affect the Consumer's right of withdrawal under point 12.

12. Right of withdrawal (pursuant to Government Decree 45/2014. (II. 26.))

12.1. This point governs the right of withdrawal without giving any reason to which a Buyer qualifying as a Consumer is entitled with respect to products purchased in the Web Shop (the right of withdrawal relating to the App Subscription is set out in point 7). A Buyer who does not qualify as a consumer (for example a company purchasing with a tax number) is not entitled to the right of withdrawal.

12.2. The withdrawal period: the Consumer may withdraw from the contract within 14 calendar days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period begins on the day on which the Consumer, or a third party other than the carrier indicated by the Consumer, takes possession of the product. Where several products are ordered at the same time and delivered on different dates, the period begins on the day on which the last product is received. The Consumer may also exercise the right of withdrawal during the period between the day of conclusion of the contract and the day of receipt of the product.

12.3. How to exercise the right of withdrawal: the Consumer may exercise the right of withdrawal by means of an unequivocal statement to that effect, or by using the model form set out in Annex 2 to Government Decree 45/2014. (II. 26.), which the Service Provider makes available at https://aionsense.ai/en/shop/withdrawal-form. The statement may be sent by e-mail to info@aionsense.ai or by post to the Service Provider's address at 1114 Budapest, Bartók Béla út 76. 1. em. 2. ajtó, Hungary. The mere return of the product in itself also constitutes withdrawal if it clearly shows the Consumer's intention to withdraw.

12.4. The right of withdrawal is deemed to have been exercised in time if the Consumer sends the statement before the 14-day period expires. The Service Provider confirms receipt of a withdrawal statement received by e-mail without delay. The burden of proving that the right of withdrawal has been exercised lies with the Consumer.

12.5. Returning the product: the Consumer shall send back or hand over the product to the Service Provider without delay, but no later than 14 days after communicating the withdrawal. The deadline is met if the Consumer sends off the product before the 14th day expires. The direct cost of returning the product is borne by the Consumer; the Service Provider does not reimburse this cost. The Service Provider does not accept parcels sent cash on delivery.

12.6. Rules on reimbursement: in the event of withdrawal, the Service Provider reimburses the full amount paid by the Consumer as consideration, including the cost of delivery, without delay, but no later than 14 days after becoming aware of the withdrawal. The Service Provider makes the reimbursement using the same means of payment as used in the original transaction, unless the Consumer expressly agrees to the use of another means of payment; the Consumer incurs no additional costs as a result of this method of reimbursement. If the Consumer expressly chose a mode of delivery other than the least expensive standard delivery offered, the Service Provider is not obliged to reimburse the resulting additional costs.

12.7. Right to withhold: the Service Provider may withhold the reimbursement until it has received the product back or until the Consumer has supplied credible evidence of having sent the product back, whichever is earlier.

12.8. Diminished value: the Consumer is liable for any diminished value of the product resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the product. The Service Provider may deduct the amount of the diminished value from the purchase price to be refunded; it informs the Consumer of this in writing, stating the reasons. Handling necessary to establish the nature of the product includes, in particular, trying on, wearing and setting up the product, but does not include its prolonged use for its intended purpose.

12.9. Exceptions to the right of withdrawal: the Consumer is not entitled to the right of withdrawal in the cases listed in Section 29 of Government Decree 45/2014. (II. 26.), in particular (a) for products made to the Consumer's specifications or clearly personalised for the Consumer; (b) for sealed products which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons if unsealed after delivery; (c) for products which, according to their nature, are inseparably mixed with other items after delivery; (d) for sealed audio or video recordings or computer software, if the Consumer has unsealed the packaging.

12.10. If the Service Provider fails to comply with its obligation to provide information on the right of withdrawal, the withdrawal period is extended by twelve months. If the Service Provider provides the information within 12 months of the expiry of the 14-day period, the withdrawal period expires on the 14th day after the supplementary information is communicated.

13. Legal guarantee of conformity (warranty for defects), product liability warranty, guarantee

13.1. This point contains the mandatory information, as set out in Annex 3 to Government Decree 45/2014. (II. 26.) on the detailed rules of contracts between consumers and businesses, on the warranty and guarantee rights to which the Consumer is entitled.

13.2. Legal guarantee of conformity (warranty for defects). In the event of defective performance by the Service Provider, the Buyer may assert a claim under the legal guarantee of conformity against the Service Provider in accordance with the rules of the Hungarian Civil Code. The Buyer may – at the Buyer's choice – request repair or replacement, unless fulfilling the chosen remedy is impossible or would result in disproportionate additional costs for the Service Provider compared with fulfilling another remedy. If the Buyer did not or could not request repair or replacement, the Buyer may request a proportionate reduction of the consideration, may repair the defect or have it repaired by another party at the Service Provider's expense, or – as a last resort – may withdraw from the contract. Withdrawal is not permitted on account of an insignificant defect. The Buyer may switch from the chosen warranty remedy to another, but shall bear the cost caused by the switch, unless the switch was caused by the Service Provider or was otherwise justified.

The Buyer shall notify the defect without delay after its discovery, but no later than two months from the discovery of the defect. The Consumer can no longer assert rights under the legal guarantee of conformity after the expiry of the two-year limitation period from the performance of the contract. In the case of a contract concluded with a party who is not a consumer, the limitation period is one year. Within one year of performance, there is no condition for asserting a warranty claim other than notifying the defect, provided the Consumer proves that the product was purchased from the Service Provider (by presenting the invoice or receipt); during this period, the burden of proving that the cause of the defect arose after performance lies with the Service Provider. However, after one year has elapsed from performance, the Consumer must prove that the defect identified already existed at the time of performance.

13.3. Product liability warranty. In the event of a defect in the product, the Consumer may – at the Consumer's choice – assert either the rights under the legal guarantee of conformity set out in point 13.2 or a product liability warranty claim. Under a product liability warranty claim, the Consumer may only request the repair or replacement of the defective product. The product is defective if it does not meet the quality requirements in force at the time it was placed on the market or if it does not have the characteristics stated in the description provided by the manufacturer. The Consumer may assert a product liability warranty claim within two years of the product being placed on the market by the manufacturer; after this period, the Consumer loses this entitlement. The Consumer may assert a product liability warranty claim only against the manufacturer or distributor of the product; when asserting a product liability warranty claim, the defect of the product must be proven by the Consumer. The manufacturer (distributor) is released from its product liability warranty obligation only if it proves that it did not manufacture or place the product on the market in the course of its business activity; that the defect could not have been detected according to the state of science and technology at the time the product was placed on the market; or that the defect results from the application of a law or a mandatory regulatory requirement.

13.4. Guarantee. Pursuant to Government Decree 151/2003. (IX. 22.) on the mandatory guarantee for certain durable consumer goods, the Service Provider is subject to a guarantee obligation in respect of the AION sense smart wristband as a durable consumer good. As the gross selling price of the product (HUF 14,990) exceeds HUF 10,000 but does not reach HUF 100,000, the duration of the mandatory guarantee is 1 (one) year. The guarantee period begins on the day the product is handed over to the Consumer. In the event of transfer of ownership of the product, the rights arising from the guarantee may be asserted by the new owner. The Service Provider makes the guarantee certificate available to the Consumer electronically, no later than on the day following the handover of the product; failure to provide the guarantee certificate does not affect the validity of the guarantee obligation, and the guarantee may also be asserted by presenting the invoice or receipt.

Under the guarantee, the Consumer may primarily request repair or replacement. The Service Provider is released from its guarantee obligation if it proves that the cause of the defect arose after performance (for example as a result of improper use, inexpert handling, use of force or natural disaster). The guarantee does not affect the Consumer's statutory rights – in particular the rights under the legal guarantee of conformity and the product liability warranty.

13.5. Deadlines for handling guarantee claims:

  • The Service Provider shall fulfil a request for repair within 15 days of its notification. If the repair or replacement takes longer than 15 days, the Service Provider informs the Consumer of the expected duration of the repair no later than on the 15th day.
  • If the product fails within three business days of purchase (commissioning), the Consumer may request replacement of the product, provided that the failure prevents its use for its intended purpose.
  • If, within the guarantee period, the product cannot be repaired because the defect recurs or because the defect cannot be repaired, or if the Service Provider does not undertake or does not carry out the repair within the 30-day deadline, the product must be replaced within 8 days after the unsuccessful expiry of the 30-day deadline; if replacement is not possible, the purchase price must be refunded within 8 days.
  • If the product has to be repaired for the fourth time (i.e. it fails again after three repairs), the Consumer may – at the Consumer's choice – request a refund of the purchase price or replacement of the product, unless the Consumer requests a price reduction or wishes to repair the defect personally.
  • The guarantee period is extended by the duration of the repair, starting from the day the product is handed over for repair.

13.6. Claims under the legal guarantee of conformity and under the guarantee, or under the product liability warranty and under the guarantee, may not be asserted simultaneously, in parallel, on account of the same defect; otherwise, however, the Consumer is entitled to the rights arising from the guarantee irrespective of the entitlements set out in points 13.2 and 13.3.

13.7. The Consumer may notify a warranty or guarantee claim by e-mail to info@aionsense.ai or by letter sent to the Service Provider's registered office. The Service Provider records the notification in a report, a copy of which it makes available to the Consumer without delay and in a verifiable manner.

14. Complaint handling and means of redress

14.1. The Buyer may submit a complaint relating to the product or to the Service Provider's activities by e-mail to info@aionsense.ai or by letter sent to the Service Provider's registered office. The Service Provider remedies an oral complaint immediately, where possible; it responds to a written complaint in writing, on the merits, within 30 days of its receipt and arranges for the response to be communicated. The Service Provider shall give reasons for rejecting a complaint. The Service Provider retains the record of the complaint and a copy of the response for 5 years.

14.2. Consumer protection authority: if the Consumer does not consider the handling of the complaint satisfactory, the Consumer may turn to the county (or, in Budapest, the capital) government office competent according to the Consumer's place of residence and acting in its consumer protection capacity. Contact details of the government offices are available at www.kormanyhivatalok.hu.

14.3. Conciliation board: in order to settle out of court a dispute relating to the quality or safety of the product, the application of product liability rules, the quality of the service, or the conclusion and performance of the contract between the parties, the Consumer may turn to a conciliation board. Conciliation board proceedings are free of charge for the Consumer. The Consumer may turn to the conciliation board competent according to the Consumer's place of residence or stay or – at the Consumer's choice – according to the Service Provider's registered office. The Service Provider is under an obligation to cooperate in conciliation board proceedings. The conciliation board competent according to the Service Provider's registered office is:

  • Budapesti Békéltető Testület (Budapest Conciliation Board)
  • Address: 1016 Budapest, Krisztina krt. 99. I. em. 111., Hungary
  • Postal address: 1253 Budapest, Pf.: 10., Hungary
  • Telephone: +36 (1) 488 21 31
  • E-mail: bekelteto.testulet@bkik.hu
  • Website: bekeltet.bkik.hu

14.4. Online dispute resolution (ODR): the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform (https://ec.europa.eu/odr) was discontinued with effect from 20 July 2025 under Regulation (EU) 2024/3228, and complaints can therefore no longer be submitted through it. To resolve cross-border consumer disputes relating to online purchases, the Consumer may turn to the European Consumer Centres Network (in Hungary: Európai Fogyasztói Központ (European Consumer Centre Hungary), magyarefk.hu), and in the case of a domestic dispute, to the conciliation board referred to in point 14.3.

14.5. In addition to the above, the Consumer is entitled to enforce the claim through the courts. Civil court proceedings are governed by the provisions of Act CXXX of 2016 on the Code of Civil Procedure.

15. Final provisions

15.1. The Service Provider reserves the right to amend these Terms unilaterally. The Service Provider notifies Users of any amendment within the App or by e-mail at least 14 days before it enters into force. By continuing to use the App, the User accepts the amended Terms. An order placed in the Web Shop is in all cases governed by the provisions of the Terms in force at the time the order is submitted and accepted by the Buyer; any subsequent amendment of the Terms does not affect orders that have already been confirmed.

15.2.
